Our Story
Hi, I'm Woody, the creator of Hanuman Fight.
I grew up in Thailand, where my love for combat sports began with Muay Thai. When I later moved to England, I struggled with confidence and mental health. Stepping out of my comfort zone, I started boxing and trained for years before recently beginning my BJJ journey.
Training was hard at times but it gave me confidence, discipline and hugely improved my mental health. It took a while but I eventually felt like the best version of myself. Today, I am far from an amazing fighter, I get smashed in training all the time but I still keep showing up.
Along the way, I wanted fight clothing that matched my journey; something that reflected my love for training, looked good and carried meaning. Most combat sports apparel on the market felt cheesy and uninspired to me.
That's why I created Hanuman Fight. It's for everyday, likeminded fighters like me. For those who are a bit chaotic and imperfect, but always striving to be better. Fight clothing that works both as martial arts apparel but looks good enough to stand on its own as streetwear.
Combat sports changed my life, both physically and mentally, and shaped who I am today. My hope is that this brand can inspire others who need support with their mindset, discipline or direction in life.

What is Hanuman?
Hanuman is an important figure in Thai culture, Buddhism, and wider Asian mythology.
Often depicted as a monkey, he is a deity and legendary warrior celebrated in epics and folklore. Hanuman embodies bravery, loyalty, perseverance, martial skill, and unrelenting energy.
For me, as someone who is Thai, he has always represented the spirit I see in combat sports which is why he is the main inspiration for this brand and everything it stands for.
